A reliable infrastructure begins with an on-chain registry that clearly defines ownership, transfer rules, and compliance requirements. This registry needs to integrate with a verifiable off-chain legal structure, often through an entity that holds the underlying asset and ensures that token holders have enforceable rights.

Custody is another critical layer. Secure storage of physical or financial assets must be matched with transparent reporting that can be independently verified. Oracles play an important role by providing pricing information, audit updates, and proof of asset existence or condition. Without trustworthy data feeds, tokenized assets cannot function in broader markets.

Liquidity mechanisms also shape the success of RWA tokenization. Markets for these tokens may be supported by AMMs, order books, or specialized auction systems. Designing redemption pathways allows token holders to convert tokens back into the underlying asset, further strengthening trust.

Finally, regulatory considerations influence every part of the system. Token issuers must navigate jurisdictional requirements and structure the ecosystem so that compliance is embedded into both the contracts and operational processes.
