EVM сompatibility

Hey everyone,

EVM compatibility is a major factor in blockchain adoption. It allows developers to deploy smart contracts and dApps built for Ethereum on other chains with minimal modifications. This means faster development, broader user adoption, and access to existing tooling like MetaMask, Hardhat or Solidity.

For ecosystems like Units.Networks, EVM compatibility opens the door to seamless integration with DeFi, NFTs and other decentralized applications without requiring developers to learn new programming languages or frameworks. Instead of reinventing the wheel, projects can leverage Ethereum’s vast infrastructure while benefiting from lower fees, faster transactions, or enhanced scalability offered by alternative networks.
Of course, there are challenges—gas fee models, cross-chain interoperability, and security considerations all come into play. But as more chains adopt EVM compatibility, we’re seeing a shift toward a more interconnected blockchain space.
Would love to hear thoughts on this—should Units.Network prioritize EVM compatibility, or focus on building a unique execution environment?
